High-Voltage reactive Power Compensation Equiptment Overview High-Voltage reactive Power Compensation Equiptment are widely used in electric power, metallurgy, mining, building materials, petrochemicals, water supply and other sectors of high-voltage AC power systems and electric motors and other power equipment, to compensate for reactive power, improve the system Power Factor, Save energy, adjust the netopeNominal System Voltage and reduce line losses. HPLC Series of products has passed the [Ministry of Power Industry of Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute] type test as early as 1994 , and has passed [Ministry of Power Industry sets of reactive compensation equipment quality inspection center] type test in 2000 (Test Report Number: 成检委字2000第112号). HPIC Series of Products and has passed through the [Electric Power Industry Ministry sets of reactive compensation equipment quality inspection center] type test in 2005 (Test Report Number: 成检委字2005第030号). Low-Voltage reactive Power Compensation Equiptment Overview Low-Voltage reactive Power Compensation Equiptment are suitable for mining companies, operateshops, shopping malls, hotels, residential communities and other distributed power system to compensate for reactive power, improve the system Power Factor, save energy, adjust the voltage and reduce line losses. Equipped with high-voltage expulsion fuses or current limiting fuses on each capacitor as a short-circuit protection to ensure safe operation of equipment. Beside HPLC which switched on or off with the motor, all assemblies are required to equip with the voltage transformer (or discharge coil) as discharge circuit for each capacitor, with voltage transformer in the equipment, the voltage on each capacitor can be reduced to below 50V, after 5 seconds. Equipped with high-voltage monitors, and electromagnetic locks, which have a mandatory locking function, to ensure security during operation or maintenance. And equipped with observation windows and cabinet lighting, so customer can monitor the operation of the equipment at any time. To suppress over-voltage caused by tripping capacitor, equipped with zinc-oxide surge arrestor (MOA). Capacitors are linked in single or double Y shape. Signle Y shape is equipped with open delta voltage imbalance protection; Double Y shape is equipped with unbalanced neutral current (voltage) protection. Low-Voltage reactive Power Compensation Equiptment Overview Equipped with SAMWHA Capacitor or other imported brands, or domestic-made high-quality full-film dielectric Self-healing power capacitors, which have advantage such as high reliability, long lifetime, low power loss, low temperature rise. AC input are equipped with fused knife switches served as input separation and short circuit protection; Input equipped with current transformer and arrester, which can display equipment operating current and absorb over-voltage; LFPC can compensate three phases simultaneously or each phases indepdisclaimerently, so to improve unbalanced AC power system. High-Voltage and Low-Voltage reactive Power Compensation Equiptment Overvieware equipped with steel core or air core reactors, depdisclaimering on need. Typically 1% of the series reactor are chosen for limiting inrush current; 5% to 6% reactor to absorb 5th or higher order harmonics and inrush current; 12% to 13% reactor to absorb 3rd or higher order harmonics and inrush current. Our Chief Engineer can analyze which is best for customer. HFPC and LFPC adopt all-partial-resonance-tuning mode, and are equipped with special purposed harmonic filtering reactor and capacitor. Remarks All equipment are equipped with reactors, whose percentage is relative to the capacitors. Customer must not try to remove these reactors in hope of reducing the compensating volume, because such operation will magnify lower order harmonics so much that the equipment is burned. So if our customer wish to change the compensating volume, do please contact us. Condition of Use Altitude: Less than 1000m (above1000m should adopt plateau-type components) Temperature: -40℃~+45℃ (capacitor's temperature range are chosen by need) Humidity : ≤95% (at 25℃) Highest operating voltage should be less than 110% of rated voltage (except for transition) Highest operating current should be less than 130% of rated current (except for transition) No explosive or flammable medium surrounding; no corrosive gas to damage the insulation and the metal; no conductive dust; No severe vibration and shock at the installation site.n site.
